today is Eid...

i got a holiday today on the occasion of Eid and as with most of the holidays ,
 i made a lot of plans to do this and do that
 but ultimately ended up lying down and resting  leisurely 
for maximum part of the day....
at last when i got up to check my facebook and youtube accounts
i came across a video that i had once created during a holiday trip in north bengal. 
I remembered it to be one of the most memorable times in my life and decided to give the video a bit of editing and here is what came out as a result....

কালি পূজা , kaali puja

as i sat in my balcony sipping the afternoon tea , saw some people take this idol of Maa Kali for some Para'r puja or a  family Kali puja (কালি পূজা) somewhere around , nearby. 

guess, something always keeps going on here...

the way from AIIH&PH to Chetla

the day was rainy just like most of the other days in the month .....only difference being our trip to the Urban Health Center at Chetla.....it was raining and we were supposed to go on a family visit as directed from the department of PSM on the scheduled day....
the bus took us from the Institute (AIIH&PH) to Chetla. along the way i decided to take some pictures of the city as i saw it during the rainy season....
