yoon hi pehloo mein baithe raho (2)
aaj jaane ki zid naa karo

(haaye mar jayenge hum to loot jayenge
aisi baatein kiya na karo
aaj jaane ki zid na karo (2)) (2)

tum hi socho zaraa kyon naa roke tumhe
jaan jaati hai jab uthake jaate ho tum (2)
tum ko apni kasam jaan-e-jaan
baat itni meri maan lo
aaj jaane ki zid na karo
yoon hi pehloo mein baithe raho (2)
aaj jaane ki zid na karo
haaye mar jayenge hum to loot jayenge
aisi baatein kiya na karo
aaj jaane ki zid na karo

waqt ki kaid mein zindagi hai magar (2)
chand ghadiyan yehi hai jo aazaad hai (2)
inko khokar main jee jaan-e-jaan
umra bhar na taraste raho

Cruel Summer

Its summer !

Yes! Kolkata Summer….and if I’m asked to describe it in just one word, then the only word that comes to my mind is, “horrible”.

The heat and added to it is the humidity. And so you sweat like a wet sponge being squeezed. All wet and messy.

Coupled with that is the overcrowding and the pollution.
They all jumble up together in one big vicious mess....

Today morning as I was rushing off to catch the metro just like any other fellow passenger during the rush hour of morning office goers, just as the metro stopped and the door slid open, a volley of fists and legs pushed me and many others like me aside to rush it as it was an AC metro! In the chaos that resulted, many got stuck in the door passage and fumbled with their hands as well as their tongues (harsh tone to slangs, whatever does the job) and the funny thing is that although I was initially pushed aside myself along with the likes of me who got sidelined, we were not to rest in peace either! Involuntarily the adrenaline rush made us forget the lessons of non-violence from the "Mahatma", and soon there we were fighting with everyone else for a seat to rest out bottoms.

In my case, although I was initially pushed aside harshly, but I took notice of the culprit and as soon as he was fumbling inside to take a seat, I showed the agility of an acrobat under the heightened adrenaline secretion that he had caused and before he was to turn and put his bottom on the seat, there was I, already sitting on the precious seat.

Soon, within 13 to 15 mins, there was central station and I got up to go when I realized, I usually come all this way standing but, today something got me....

Vegetarians less healthy then non vegs

In a way i think our human anatomy and physiology is such that we need both plant as well as animal products for a proper and balanced nutrition, and that is where the vegetarian population gets into trouble...they omit meat and meat products. And thereby they have to depend totally on plant products for their entire dietary requirements which often lead to faulty and unhealthy food habits ultimately leading to disease.

For example vit b12 can be easily obtained by having a proper non veg meal. Vegetarian meal often lacks it and thereby many of the strict vegetarians suffer from megaloblastic anemia.

Movie n8

Today was sunday but I had 12 hoirs duty posting in Hospital. I had some of my friends with me on duty, so Yesterday I coocked chicken for us and took it to share with them.

Everyone liked my chicken prepararion, and in that moment I felt like it was much more fun sharing the thing with my friends and getting to eat only two pieces then having the whole preparation all to myself and having it alone at my home...

Later as we all got busy with our work, time flew by and soon my shift was over.

I returned home tired and realised that the sunday was gone and tomorrow again would be another monday awaiting with all its hardships and toils....

I was all alone in my flat and .......whats better then lying on your bed and enjoying a good movie with all the lights turned off.....a good relaxation technique and as ill doze off to sleep, ill get the rest ill need to start off for the new day ahead tomorrow morning...
